A Little (probably too much) About Me

Hi! I’m Teagan 👋 I’m 24, born and raised in Cairns, and definitely a country girl at heart. If I’m not studying, you’ll probably find me outdoors—whether it’s fishing, camping under the stars, or heading out for a hunt. I’ve got two mischievous fur babies (you can spot them down below) who think they’re mini lions with their rodent-hunting skills—trust me, nothing in the yard is safe around them 😂.

I’ve also been lucky enough to share the last 8 years with my partner, who is my biggest supporter (and unofficial Uni supervisor). He’s the one making sure my assignments are done before we head off on our weekend adventures. Honestly, I wouldn’t have survived this degree without his gentle-but-firm “Did you finish that yet?” reminders. Together, we’ve ticked off some pretty big milestone, like buying our first house when I was just 20. That was a huge step, but it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made.

Somewhere in the mix, I also started a small country clothing business, which has been such a fun and rewarding side project. It’s definitely challenged me in new ways, but it’s also kept me connected to the lifestyle and community I love so much.

I kicked off my uni journey in 2022, starting part-time while juggling full-time work. But halfway through, I had a big lightbulb moment: 6 years of uni was NOT the vibe. So, I switched to full-time, powered through, and now here I am in my very last term! Past-me deserves a medal for that decision—otherwise, I’d be stuck here until 2027. Instead, I’m counting down the days to graduation and already daydreaming about what’s next.
